|Description:||The building had an antechamber and a square-plan chamber. The roof of the antechamber was flat and the chamber roofed with a conical dome consisting of 24 ribs. The door was rectangular and in the chamber there were two niches and two windows. In the centre of the chamber there was a column, the stûna mîraza, on the top of which oil wicks were burnt, the same as the Zoroastrian fire altars.|
|Building/site biography:||The mausoleum, devoted to Sheikh Hasan, was effective against lung diseases and rheumatism. Being Sheikh Hasan the forefather of the Adani family, the building was important for Yazidi pilgrimage. The mausoleum was destroyed by ISIS on July 12 2015, as reported by Ezidi Press and in the ASOR CHI Report of July 21, 2015.|
